Kyrios Xou, Transformation of an Athenian house with yard to a Coffee Bar in Petralona Athens, November – May 2014

The transformation of an Athenian house with a courtyard into a café-bar focused on preserving the domestic scale and character of the existing building. The intervention reorganised the interior spaces for their new public use, while maintaining a close relationship between the rooms and the courtyard and street. New architectural elements, lighting and furnishings were integrated into the existing fabric, creating a sequence of distinct yet connected spaces.

Κύριος Χου, Μετατροπή αθηναϊκής μονοκατοικίας με αυλή σε Καφέ Μπαρ, Πετράλωνα, Νοέμβριος – Μάιος 2014

Μετατροπή μιας αθηναϊκής μονοκατοικίας με αυλή σε café-bar βασίστηκε στη διατήρηση της οικιακής κλίμακας και του χαρακτήρα του υφιστάμενου κτιρίου. Η επέμβαση αναδιοργάνωσε τους εσωτερικούς χώρους για τη νέα δημόσια χρήση, διατηρώντας παράλληλα τη στενή σχέση των δωματίων με την αυλή. Νέα αρχιτεκτονικά στοιχεία, φωτιστικά και έπιπλα εντάχθηκαν στο υπάρχον κέλυφος, διαμορφώνοντας μια ακολουθία διακριτών αλλά συνδεδεμένων χώρων.
